LAURA MVULA SAMPLES HER ORCHESTRAL RELEASE OF "SING TO THE MOON"

Laura Mvula's orchestral release of Sing To The Moon does not come out until August 11, but she has provided a 6-track sample starting with "Make Me Lovely," a track about not being able to force love, accompanied by a slew of horns and strings. Instruments bombard each and every track in equal power of Laura Mvula's heavy-laden soulful voice. This album is very different from the original album, leaving more time for the ensemble to do their thing; they support her voice well.

This album was conducted by Jules Buckley at Abbey Road Studios and recorded with the Metropole Orkest. --GB

Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 recently shared a leak to his upcoming mixtape Winter Is Coming. It features lovely jazz/R&B/pop mash-up songstress Lauriana Mae. The track is called "Will She Be Loved," presenting scenarios that make it likely for a woman to stay single.
