Need a miracle? Kimbra's got the remedy. In her song "Miracle," her secret ingredients are colorful dancers on city streets with brownstone apartment houses, and a bunch of Kimbra moves that only she can pull off. Pair that with a festive crimson-jeweled bodysuit, red backpack and hot pants which morph into a red cape for the final collective street number, and voilĂ - there's that pep in your step needed to get through hump day til' the weekend.

LUKE JAMES COVERS SAM SMITH'S "STAY WITH ME"



Leave it up to Luke James to give Sam Smith a run for his money. Luke's cover of "Stay With Me" is something that has to be heard to be believed. The slick voice of the falsetto crooner trickles all over the track so much so that even his peer Sam Smith took notice. LAURA MVULA SAMPLES HER ORCHESTRAL RELEASE OF "SING TO THE MOON"


Laura Mvula's orchestral release of Sing To The Moon does not come out until August 11, but she has provided a 6-track sample starting with "Make Me Lovely," a track about not being able to force love, accompanied by a slew of horns and strings. Instruments bombard each and every track in equal power of Laura Mvula's heavy-laden soulful voice. This album is very different from the original album, leaving more time for the ensemble to do their thing; they support her voice well. 

This album was conducted by Jules Buckley at Abbey Road Studios and recorded with the Metropole Orkest. --GB

VIDEO: DIANE BIRCH PERFORMS ACOUSTIC VERSION OF "SPEAK A LITTLE LOUDER"


Against a simple white backdrop and a grand piano, Diane Birch performs an acoustic version of "Speak A Little Louder," off of her latest album of the same name. Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 recently shared a leak to his upcoming mixtape Winter Is Coming. It features lovely jazz/R&B/pop mash-up songstress Lauriana Mae. The track is called "Will She Be Loved," presenting scenarios that make it likely for a woman to stay single.
