Atlantic Records recording artist Lauriana Mae, fresh off the hype of her and CeeLo's hit "Only You," has just laid her first official video on the masses; it's called "Money Mae;" and no wonder it needs the drumroll-esque introduction--because with this one she went over the top!
In the one woman show, Lauriana, in embellished dress, tells us who's boss, while she lavishly rains money down on the masses. Is your favorite rapper taking notes? Maybe.
The video was styled by Kendrell Bowman, produced by Kwamé, directed by Kai Regan (remember Cobra Starship/Leighton Meester's "Good Girls Go Bad?" yeah--he directed that one too), and co-written by Donny Roc.
This is just the first of releases from Lauriana Mae during the "Month of Mae," a promo period (and catchy phrase) set up for Lauriana to catch up and link with her fans, perform around the tri-state, and release new material. Catch up with the "Month of Mae" on her Tumblr.--GB
