Christy Barber came up with an interesting concept to bring together Jamaica's beloved singers and country's powerhouse production together for some rootin' tootin' fun. Getting together with producer John Rich (of Big & Rich), and producer Dean Fraser, the project grew further into a hybrid album.
This is a great idea, hopefully appealing to both audiences of reggae and country music. Reggae's Gone Country comes out today on VP Records. It features Romain Virgo, Luciano, Beres Hammond, Busy Signal, and more.
